2011. SONORIZATION AS AN IMAGETIC/NARRATIVE PROCESS: Proposal of a narrative sonorization model by means of an analysis of the Buster Keaton's burlesque

ABSTRACT

This work studied the distinction of the cinematographic images proposed by Deleuze: the "movement-images" and the "time-images". The latter are characterized as a dialogic narrative organization, constituted by a fundamental fissure between visual and sound images; this fissure defines an image/narrative constructed only by sounds, independent, yet synchronized with the visual imagetic/narrative. It still was based on the generalization of concepts that Deleuze uses to analyze the gags of Keaton, to propose a serial construction of this group of sound elements and the realization of a 'noise act', which work as a commentary coexistent with the visual image and directing of the narrative.
